a2b Fulfillment Provides Logistics, Customer Care Services for Goodbye Malaria

a2b Fulfillment announces that it will be providing logistics and customer care services for the non-profit, fund-raising campaign, Goodbye Malaria, whose mission is to increase awareness and help fund malaria eradication programs in Africa.

The initiative raises funds that go to The Global Fund and Roll Back Malaria to support on-the-ground malaria elimination programs in Mozambique such as spraying houses to protect families from the malaria-infected mosquitoes.  Products made in Africa will be sold to raise funds and include cotton pajamas, which are also symbolic, acting as a call to action – saving lives in your sleep through your purchase. 50% of profits are funneled through the Global Fund into Malaria programs.  Other items include beaded bracelets, which are hand-made by women residing in the villages who are able to take care of their families and support their communities.

Goodbye Malaria was founded by Rob Brozin who leads a team of dedicated, passionate game changers focused on product development, advocacy, innovative finance, and much more. “We are excited to bring our program to the US.  Increasing the general awareness of the malaria problem in Africa will encourage US consumers to purchase these African-made products and generate funds for the eradication campaigns.”

Co-founder and North American representative David Stern commented “The program creates self-sustainable economies in Africa.   All components of the products are produced in Africa, by Africans.  That includes the cotton used to make the pajamas.”   Stern continues “Products sold in the US stimulate this activity and local African economies.  Then, the proceeds of the sales in the US go to the Goodbye Malaria program.  It’s a win-win on multiple levels.”

“We are proud to be a partner of this noble effort and are honored to work amongst the other high profile companies and organizations that are all collaborating towards this important and achievable goal.” commented Ayal Latz, President of a2b Fulfillment.

Latz and Stern estimate that the campaign will go live in early October.   “We will keep it going as long as there is a problem of malaria” stated Stern.   “This is a doable job as long as we can provide the resources.  We intend to introduce additional interesting and exciting products from an ever-growing base of African entrepreneurs.”
