Bluewater Media Hires Top Agency Talent Gina Pomponi
New Hire to Continue to Drive Growth in the Direct Response Media and Branded Direct Response Space
Clearwater, FL – Bluewater Media is adding more proven talent to its media team with the announcement of Gina Pomponi as President of the Media Division. Pomponi is a proven direct response advertising talent with 25 years in direct response marketing, strategy, media buying, and management. She joins Bluewater after 5 years as Senior Vice President of Mercury Media. Gina was responsible for the growth and strategic direction of the short form division of Mercury, which grew to the $100 million mark in annual billings in only five years under her leadership.

Pomponi has considerable experience in a diverse list of verticals including retail support, financial, high-ticket lead generation, drive to web and direct sell. Prior to joining the Mercury team, she was Vice President of Media at Direct Response Media (DRM) for nearly two decades. “I’m excited about the opportunity to build on the great things the team at Bluewater Media is already doing, “ said Pomponi. “With the in house creative and digital capabilities we’ll be able to shape campaigns from end to end giving us unlimited potential.” Some of her past clients include AIG, Blue Cross Blue Shield, MetLife, Mutual of Omaha, Sleep Number, Kobalt Tools, Rockwell Tools, no!no!, NordicTrack, American Red Cross, Telebrands, Sharper Image, VetGuard and US Fidelis, just to name a few.

Pomponi joins a leadership team that already includes Andy Latimer and Brian Fasulo who are top direct response producers in both long form and short form advertising. The pair have collected 7 Electronic Retailer Association (ERA) Moxie Awards for their creative work over the last 3 years. Plus Bluewater's Digital team, led by Vice President Ryan Ford, has grown from a new venture into a direct to consumer powerhouse managing over 1000 products online with digital marketplace and Drop in CommerceTM strategies that are delivering new markets to new and existing brands.
